Although it's rather late, but i am still very happy that you guys actually thought of me on that special day instead of using the time to do something else. Xie xie da jia! =D
Have been very ill recently. Down with high fever and constant backaches and lying on the bed for most of my days. Being healthy is really something we cannot take it for granted, especially when you needed it most for the most uptight period.
Sanshoshima chose exactly the right time to attack me. Seeked help from 2 docs, to no avail but instead aggravated my condition.
The most unendurable night is when my high fever soared to 40.5 degree celcius and i vomited out everything i ate, including my medication. Drenched completely in sweat, I can only drink small amount of water, stare at the ceiling above and wait for the time to tick by. Felt as though a criminal waiting for death sentence.
There were times where i did not dare to close my eyes. I was so weak that i cannot even turn my body. I forced my eyes open and mouthed daimoku fervently. I shivered at the slightest wind and trembled violently during one of the afternooon even though all the windows in my room were shut tight.
I visited an old Chinese Physician yesterday morning. His medicine is very bitter to ingest, but i eventually got abit better. I chanted continuously, even when lying down. My mum rang up my D1 and IIC to request them for support in sending daimoku to me. I received a few smses and phone calls. Seeing that so many people are concerned about me, i'm determined to get well asap.
With this in mind, maybe you may not believe it, but i feel almost recovered this morning.
Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is like the roar of a lion. What illness can therefore be an obstacle?
(WND412)I will start my revision today as i have alot more things to catch up. Though i may not be able to study finish all my materials but at least i dun give up on my examinations on the 11th day. I must admire the moon!
"A favorable environment does not guarantee that one can study. Wherever you are, be it on a train or even in the bathroom, that can be your classroom." (Josei Toda)With this i will end my entry with an encouragement from Yong Jie:
Life is tenacious; it is endowed with the impulse to survive and the power to heal. The "highly effective medicine" for drawing forth these innate properties is the Mystic Law. Ultimately, it's ourselves who cure our illness, while the decision to undertake this battle to do so arises from faith.(Daisaku Ikeda)*posted on 4 May 2008, Sunday, 11.26am*
